Speed Medical Named Winners of Best Employer Category at British Claims Awards!

Thursday 9^th September saw the coming together of the industry for the greatly anticipated annual British Claims Awards.

From the moment the categories were revealed we had our eyes on the prize for one in particular– Best Employer.

We knew that we had a compelling case to at least be considered as part of the shortlist which is a huge accolade. Over the last 18 months the safety and well-being of our team has never been more important, and we have worked hard to ensure that our teams continued to feel valued and supported throughout this time.

Our quick and efficient move to a 100% remote based operation was due to the hard work, knowledge and skills of our brilliant team. We’ve invested heavily in personal development plans, external qualification and career progression and development opportunities. And throughout the biggest change of culture (working remotely), we were able to offer ongoing training opportunities and introduce the intranet platform Speed Way.

Speed Way has been an enormous asset to our operations through the pandemic. A tool to communicate, congratulate, and aid us all through this strange period. It has become an initiative that will we continue to reap the benefits from everyone in the years to come.

In 2020, for the third consecutive time, we attained the Investors in People Gold award something we are immensely proud of. This gold status recognises the hard work our team continue to provide to ensure Speed Medical is not only a great place to work but provides top quality service across the whole business.
