Speed Medical Hosts Successful Vocational Assessment Training
Following our successful exhibition at the RCNi Jobs Fair, we created an engaging, Vocational Assessment Training Course that was open to Nurses to help further their knowledge and gain valuable CPD points.
The course was a great success and was attended by many of our existing team as well as the passionate Nurses we met at the RCNi event after they registered interest in joining our Expert Panel. This proved to be a fantastic opportunity to not only grow and expand our Expert Panel but also to build upon our ongoing initiative to provide continuing support and development to all of our Panel Members.
Specialised training, delivered by experts
To ensure the course was accessible to all, we delivered the training online as a live and interactive session led by Claire Munro, the Head of Clinical Delivery at Speed Medical and underpinned by one of our very own Occupational Health Physicians.
Each training session covered the approach we take towards Vocational Health Assessments including our focus on outcome-driven, evidence-based reporting. We also looked to the future, outlining updates on Government Consultations and the opportunities these could present.
Our aim was simple - to help Nurses understand the latest legislation around the Equality Act while ensuring the quality of assessments and reports produced remain in-line with our impeccably high standards. With this approach, we’re able to provide a strong foundation for our new panel members, expanding their knowledge and skills and giving them real insight into what we do here at Speed Medical.

Using training and development to build the UK’s leading Expert Panel
At Speed Medical we place a huge amount of emphasis on training and development. Not only are we constantly searching for experienced medical professionals to help grow our Expert Panel, but we also invest in their ongoing development.
Our training offers attendees the opportunity to learn from other leading experts. Each session provides transferable skills and also counts towards earning CPD points.
